Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 Review

Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 – Burns calories, binds fat

Why You Might Buy It: Contains Glucomannan and some other good ingredients

Why You Might Not: Not the best formula we have encountered. Others preferred

Our Opinion: Not a product to invest you time and money in.

Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 is one of a number of health and wellness supplements produced in the USA by Windmill Health Products. There used to be three different versions of the product, but this has now changed.

Instead of providing multiple formulas and giving each of them a different pack colour (red, blue, green), the company have discontinued the blue and green packs.

The red pack is still available, and has a snazzy new look, but the formulation used in the original red version has been ditched in favour of the formulation that used to be sold in the green box.

Feeling confused? We aren’t surprised. It would have been a lot easier to keep things simple by retaining the green formulation and marketing it in the original box. The switch to red packaging serves no plausible function.

How Does Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 Work

Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 is designed to help people to lose weight by providing four key benefits:

  • Burns calories
  • Binds fat
  • Suppresses the appetite
  • Satiety and digestion

The aforementioned results are apparently made possible by a combination of four natural ingredients. Three of them are plant extracts and the fourth is a bacteria.

Active Ingredients

Three Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 tablets contain:

  • Garcinia cambogiaGarcinia Cambogia Extract (750mg): When garcinia cambogia is 60% hydroxycitric acid (HCA) it has the ability to support weight loss by providing appetite control and preventing new fat cells from forming. Extracts that provide a lesser percentage of HCA are deemed to be inferior and may not work at all. Windmill Health Products don’t state the HCA percentage of the extract used in their product.
  • Green Tea Leaf Extract and Matcha Tea (262.5mg): Green tea is a healthy ingredient with proven fat burning abilities. Matcha is a form of green tea that has been ground to form a fine powder that’s alleged to be 10 times more potent than normal green tea.
  • ProBiotic Blend (250mg): A dose of “good bacteria” that may improve digestive health and help the body burn some extra fat, but the level of influence probiotics have one body fat levels is likely to be minimal.
  • Glucomannan (200mg): A water soluble fibre taken from the roots of a plant. Glucomannan is scientifically proven to work. It’s ability to curb hunger and assist weight loss has even been endorsed by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), but the EFSA stress the importance of using at least 3×1g doses per day. The amount provided here is not enough to control hunger. Strange as it may seem, Windmill Health Products have added glucomannan to work as a fat binder. It’s not generally associated with this function, so its presence here serves no purpose.
How to Use  – One tablet is needed, up to three times each day, and it’s best to time the doses to correspond to meal times. Good results will require the product be used in conjunction with diet and exercise.

Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 Customer Testimonials

A few sample customer comments read:

“I think I’m losing a little more weight now than I was before, so I’m going to buy another bottle and see if it can help me keep up the good work.”
“I was already exercising a lot and eating pretty healthy, but not losing weight. I thought these pills would take me the rest of the way, but they didn’t do a thing.”
“I lost 3-4 pounds by the time I’d finished the bottle. It’s not much, but it’s better than nothing.”
“All these tablets did was give me gas and when you’re a bus driver that can be pretty bad news.”

Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 Side Effects

Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 is unlikely to be suitable for women who are pregnant or nursing a child. Several former users say the formulation proved to be hard on their stomach, causing pain and nausea. With this in mind, we suggest all potential users obtain their doctor’s approval prior to commencing supplementation.

Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 Purchasing Options

Although Windmill Health Products state their products are distributed in over 25 countries of the world, the truth of the matter is the company is more focussed on selling to customers living in the US. Even the store locator page on the official website is only capable of helping people who are looking for a “national supplier”.

However, when purchasing via a US-based supplier, the price per 30-day supply of pills is generally around USD$ 15 (AUD$ 20). That’s not too bad, but shipping charges are likely to double the cost.

Guarantee

Windmill Health Products fail to provide customers with a money back guarantee.

The Final Judgement

Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 is not a diet pill that will be easy to obtain in Australia, and customers who find a suitable online supplier are apt to be severely stung by the shipping costs.

The availability issues and extra costs involved with using Doctor’s Select Weight Loss 4 may not be an issue if it were a more promising product, but any results obtained are likely to be relatively poor and customers who are disappointed by the outcome won’t be able to ask for a refund.

It goes without saying, there are better options available and, if you are not sure where to begin your search, we suggest taking a look at some of the products that were good enough to gain our approval.
