Skinny Angel is a female fat burner you can buy on Amazon.com.

It’s one of several health and wellness supplements brought to market by BioPharm Nutraceuticals and sold under the ViMulti brand name.

The company’s Amazon store offers a diverse range of health and wellness products, including a testosterone booster, a crab blocker, a cream for treating bruises and varicose veins, and a butt enhancement cream.

According to the Amazon sales page, Skinny Angel is designed for women, but is strong enough for men to use to.

Skinny Angel Credibility

The fact that there are so many products in the ViMulti range suggests BioPharm Nutraceuticals is an industrious company, but we were unable to find an official website or any contact details.

There’s a company profile on Amazon that states they are based in Florida and are “an industry-leading designer of novel nutraceuticals designed for total body care” and have a science team that’s on a mission to be “the innovator of simple, safe and effective products designed to tackle multiple ailments that affect most Americans”.

Unfortunately this is far from being true. We found a diet pill called Ultimate Fat Burn that bears the Kismet brand name and contains an identical formulation of ingredients as those used in Skinny Angel.

We checked on a few of the company’s other products and found different-brand clones of them too.

So it appears ViMulti is not a manufacturer, but a company or a person unknown who is engaged in buying and selling private label products.

The company’s ViMulti Butt Enhancement Cream is a prime example. The same formulation is being marketed on Amazon, under several brand names, as a body firming cellulite cream.

Does Skinny Angel Work

It’s impossible to predict how so many ingredients are likely to react when combined, especially when so many of them don’t have their inclusion rates provided.

However, the thing that stands out most is the lack of any powerful fat burners.

There is a limited amount of research to suggest CLA can help reduce fat mass, but it lacks the proven fat burning potential of green tea or cayenne pepper.

Bladderwrack may help some people to burn extra fat because it contains iodine, and the thyroid gland needs iodine to create the T-hormones that regulate the metabolism.

A lack of iodine can slow the metabolism sufficiently to inhibit the weight loss process, but people who get enough iodine from their food will see no benefit from the inclusion of an iodine-provider like bladderwrack.

There’s a problem here as well. Kelp is also rich in iodine. Spirulina algae powder provides it too and the inclusion rates are not disclosed. According to the National Institutes of Health, adult men and women only need 150mcg of iodine per day. If the combined iodine capacity of the three ingredients exceeds this it could cause side effects.

Chromium stands out as being one of the better inclusions. It helps control insulin levels and prevents desires for fatty or sugary food and the inclusion rate here is about right.

Unfortunately, we are not seeing any potent appetite suppressing ingredients. Psyllium husk is a natural fibre that has a bulking effect that can kill the desire for food, but a high dose is needed and there is now way the Skinny Angel proprietary blend can supply enough of it to be of benefit.

Overall, what we are seeing here does not suggest a strong product.

Kismet are marketing it as a unisex fat burner and if we put in the time we could probably unearth other companies selling it as a fat burner for men because private label products can be marketed in whatever way the brand owner feels will work best.

Even for a normal diet pill, the formulation looks pretty poor and customer reviews are hardly confidence building.

The lack of appetite suppressing ingredients is a particularly big failing because researchers have discovered the reason so many women find it harder to lose weight than men do is because they are subjected to more powerful hunger urges.

It’s possible that Skinny Angel may offer a modest amount of weight loss support, but women who need to lose weight would be better off opting for a superior option instead.
